Ryan, Just read your message and have been working on some of my side branches and I have Hopping in my line and I believe we're connected. My late grandmother Hazel (Smith) McCormack on Linebrook Rd had a sister Beatrice who married George Hopping. They lived in Boxford for many years. I've been trying to confirm that George & your g-grandfather, Norman W. were brothers. I show Norman W. and his wife Ozell Putnam had 2 children, Norman R. & James Hopping. If you know your g-grandparents names can you confirm this? Looking over your message showing your father & his siblings, I think your Uncle John is living in the Exeter area and my grandson (Tom Stackhouse) and your Uncle John's youngest son know each other as they are both active in sports at school. BTW, we lived in Ipswich prior to 1976 and when my son Peter was in Little League I managed his baseball team and I knew your grandfather Norman very well when he coached as well. I'm sure you've heard that he was one of the key figures that got LL started in town way back when and was very active in LL for years. If you're interested in what I have on the Hopping line I'd be happy to share it.
