Judy, I think we are cousins, but I can not prove it! My ggggrandfather was Thomas Hopper, born in NC about 1770-1780.He moved through Tn from 1810-1840, ending up in Carroll co. He died there about 1853. He is said to have had 18 children. One of his children was Tillman Hopper. I believe that you also have a Tillman H. in your line ? I believe that you are in the line of David Hopper Cir 1680 in Bertie NC .This same group later moved to Rockingham co NC. I have a copy that begins with the above David H. and includes HOPPERS in your area of W. TN. I would like to talk to you about a possible connection between the two families? You can email me at bjdinkins@sbcglobal.net I would be glad to share with you. jim Dinkins
