Hi Susan,

I haven't checked this site for a long time, but I saw your posting today on the Hopman/Hoffman line. I am also a decendant of Hans Hoffman, but I am from John's line. I found all this line extensively posted on the web about 7 years ago, but each time I tried to contact the person that did the work I never got a response. Through contacting the state of NJ, I've been able to receive some great findings such as a copy of my gr. gr. grandfather's, Samuel Hoffman, marriage certificate and a copy of his will.

I haven't been able to find where any of my Hoffmans are buried yet. They all seemed to live around the Cape May area. Where did your Hoffman's settle?

Maybe we could compare notes. My email address Thanks - Ann
