Looking for parents and other children of Samuel Clement Hopkins.
His daughter Rebecca born 23 Sep 1813 died 24 Oct 1896 married Thomas Carpenter 27 Nov 1839 in Woodbury, NJ.
There were many Hopkins/Carpenter marriages in the NJ, Long Island, NY area. Many were descendants of RI Gov Stephen Hopkins 1707-1785, signer of the Declaration of Independence.
I'm hoping to connect my William Henry Hopkins born 13 Feb 1838 in Springville, Erie Co., NY. He married Kate Moore of Schenectady, NY Dec. 28, 1864 in Andrew, Jackson Co., Iowa. 5 kids only 1 son William B. Hopkins b 1866.
