George Hope was granted 100 acres on Sandy (Santee) River in 1772 in what was Craven County, now Berkley or Charleston Co, SC. Does anyone have any data on him?
There is good chance my William Hope (1769 SC-1856 GA) was out of George. LDS archives say William was born Beaufort Co, SC.
