I too am seeking the ancestors of Phillip Augustus Hoot, b. May 10,1795 in Selinsgrove, Snider County, PA.

From the family tales through August's family - Phillip born 1795 ran away from home to Fort Niagra, NY at age 17. Joined War of 1812. Returned to live in Selinsgrove, Snider County, PA (Just South East of Central PA)

I am Roger Hoot son of Darrell W Hoot, Blake E Hoot, James Hoot, Henry Hoot, Phillip A Hoot.

Have you found any information about his father & mother?
