Thanks. I just happen to have their marriage certificate and it states he was born in New Hampshire and at the time of the marriage it looks like he was living in Springfield but I can't make out the rest...something like Ma and two other letters. Marriage date Oct. 13, 1884. Fathers name Fred Hooper, mother Ellen Wheeler not sure if the 1st letter of last name for Ellen is a W, but any other letter does not make sense. Thanks for any help.
