Hello,
I am working on my partner's family tree and need some help with it. What I know is the family originated from Cornwall, England (or so it seems). They came to Canada (to be more specific, Ontario primarily the Lindsay and Mariposa region).
I have been stuck at John Hooper (b: c1815, d: 1890) m Mary Ann Roose. They had 3 children I have been able to find (John listed above, Lydia, and William).
John & Elizabeth's known children according to the Census are Lilia Jane (Louise), Frederick Hooper who wed a Mary, Beatrice Hooper, William Arthur Hooper (hubby's line) wed Martha Ann Worthington, George Bertram Hooper wed Mary Grace Uglow (have info on their children as well), May Hooper who wed John Elliot (they adopted a son), Corinna Hooper, Selena Hooper, Maggie Hooper, Wesley Hooper.
If anyone has any info on this line, please contact me. I have not been able to find anything passed John & Mary Ann (which leads me to believe this union might not be the actual parents as it came from Rootsweb).
