I have come upon your message #71 sent April 18, 2004 in reply to a message concerning DAVID HOOP by Milly. I realize four years have passed but I am hoping you may be able to help me.
Is the George Hoop Jr. you write about in the message the son of George Hoop (1740-1803) and his first wife Catherine and also the half brother of Jacob Hoop (1787-1856) son of George Hoop (1740-1803) and his second wife Mary Hauman?
I am having difficulty determining the birthplace of George Hoop (1740-1803) and who his parents are. I note on your message #71 that you have additional information on predecessors and descendants of David Hoop. If this is the same family, any information you may have to get me going in the right direction with George Hoop (1740-1803) would be greatly appreciated.
