Hi again!
Where in France? We are between Compiegne & Senlis - on the Oise.
Do you have dates relevant to the children of James & Thomas? I made transcripts of all the HOOLEY Births, Marriages, & Deaths from 1837 to about 1950, and can provide the reference numbers for most of them, which might be useful in sorting things out.
My own father was born in Draycott/Wilne, just across the river from Shardlow. He and Mum are buried there. The old mill, where my ancestor Samuel HOOLEY worked [and lived] still exists there on the banks of the Derwent. I think it was/?is used fro the manufacture of fireworks!
Yes, I'ld be most grateful for any copies of documents relating to the HOOLEY clan. [28 Westbrook Court, COVENTRY, CV5 7RB]
I am very happy to sharte my HOOLEY reseaches with any other interested genealogists!
Best Wishes,
DAVID
