Charles Hooley m Catharine Shrigley, Macclesfield, Cheshire

I am looking for any info on Charles Hooley who married Catharine Shrigley in Prestbury, Cheshire on 17/04/1789. I have a hunch they may be my partner's GGGG Grandparents but have no proof. Catharine may have well been married to a Mr Shrigley before she married Charles.

Why do I think these may be the GGGG GPs were are looking for? Well, in the 1851 and 1861 census' David Hooley (GGG Grandfatehr born c1803) is living with a sister or half-sister (depending on which year census!) Sarah Shrigley (born c1778), who if she was from the mothers previous marriage, would fit with Charles and Catherine. Just hunting for proof now! Also, David called one of his children Charles so may be another indicative factor?
Many thanks
Claire
