Unfortunately I have no record of Charles Hooley and his wife other that the record of their marriage. As for the descendants of David, I have quite a bit - as , I suppose, have you.
Incidentally, my own Hooleys lived on the other side of the pennines from about 1600 .
I assume that the Hulleys of Rainow are certainly related to your branch, though i suspect that Ray Hulley, indefatigable and thorough as he is, has not -yet - managed to connect them all!
Even the holders of the name were uncertain as to how it "should" be spelled, and I have a copy of a will of Jasper Hulley [spelled by the legal clerks that way, but signed "Jasper Hooley". And two brothers - both undergraduates at Brasenose, Oxford, circa 1730, adopted different spellings viz Howley and Hooley.
Do please let me know if you should discover what happened to Charlesm wifem and children.
