Looking for info on William Richard Hooker mentioned
in a book on Chickasaw Co.,MS as b c 1865 (?)-
grandson (?) of Wm R Hooker (b c 1810 in TN)????
Wm R Hooker (b c 1810 in TN) moved with his father to
Franklin Co.,AL by 1817, and then married c 1840 and
moved to MS c 1845. He had a son b 1841 in AL named
Wm. Richard or Willis R. listed on the Chickasaw Co.,
MS census in 1850 and listed as just Richard in 1860 -
did this Richard have a son Wm Richard who might have
moved to TX?? Lamar Co., TX?
Could they have been related to the previously
mentioned J R (James????) Hooker a minister in that
county in MS. Or to the James Hooker on the 1880 Lamar
Co.,TX census?
