Adella,
I know of no county record of the Robert Hooker to Levisa Harmon marriage, the only record we have is from Isaac Harmon's (her father) will.
I did not know of the Robert Hooker 1805 Williamson County TN tax record.I take it that this info still hasn't produced a father for these Hookers, RObert, George, and Thomas. But at least it is a new place to look.
I don't think the Hooker's and Ashby's are related in VA.THere is a very early Hooker family in the 1600's of NC which is possibly the roots of ours.Just so many Ashby coonections becasue they were all very early settlers of the Green River area.
The Sarah Ashby connection comes because her name is on Robert Hooker's tax record. There was a widow Sarah Ashby but she was born about 1750 and is too old to be Robert's first wife. She was likely the widow of John Ashby and lately I have been wondering if Robert married a daughter of hers who may have brought some of Sarah's land to the marriage.just speculation though.
