Kyle,

Understand you are the most knowledgeable on the Hookers of Dobbs Co. Assume you know that
Charles Holloman recently passed away. Hooker is a new proven line for me although as Joe said,
it has been rumored to be the case. Have not seen Holloman's study. I abstracted the 1800 General
Assembly Records recently for anything for Greene and Lenoir Counties and came across the
1800 Greene Co Senate Voters List (now posted on the Greene Co Archives under General Assembly).
In that list it states that John Pope was the brother in law of Hymrick Hooker. John's wife is proven
to be Mary and they are my ancestors. Their daughter Sarah, married James Albritton. Hope to
start backtracking on this line shortly but would
be more than happy to be on the receiving end of work already done (documented) instead of the
giving end should you wish to share.

I have a number of Hookers on my database for one reason or another including Hymrick whose
father in law, John Phillips was also one of my ancestors. Have not done a lot of following the Hymrick
and Elizabeth line except what can be proven and it appears there has been some confusion on
that line.

Thanks.
Martha Mewborn Marble
