I'm looking for this couple who unofficially adopted my grandmother's half sister in approximately 1893. They are listed on the 1900 census for Rich Hill, Bates Co., MO in their 40s while their adopted daughter, Fanny, is 8. She was born in Missouri and her mother died when she was 3 weeks old.
Fanny married Frank W. Dawes before 1927 - probably in Missouri. They had a son Frank A. Dawes.
Any help would be appreciated.
