Was Cecelia Quinn's information helpful b 1798 York, SC -d 1885 MS or did you have it already??
Parents: John b 1765 Orange, NC - d 1845 St Claire, AL

SHORT and Payne are others of my allied families that seem to have been with Quinn & Hood families...Early VA >NC>SC>GA>AL>MS

All families used similar names which can be ..
Hugh Quinn b 1723 Cookstown, Tyrone, Ire married there
Margaret Fondren b 1730 both d York, SC 7 May 1798 & 1802
Peter Quinn b 1750 Tyrone- 1824 Pike, MS They immigrate
Daniel Quinn b 1758 Orange, NC md Mary Morgan 1782
Mary Elizabeth b 1760- 1820 Pendleton,SC
John Quinn b 1765 Orange, NC md Elizabeth Morgan
so brothers Daniel & John, marry sisters Mary & Margaret.- -
Some of these went to GA. I've read that land was given to Rev War Vets. The most plausible counties are Gwinnet & Franklin from location & names I've found.
