Does anyone know when/where Caroline died or where she is buried?
She was born in Mar 1840 in Virginia. Not sure where but the family is in Wyoming County in 1850. Her parents were John ALLEN Jr and Elizabeth Jane LAFFERTY.
The last I can find of her is on the 1920 census in the household of her son John W. HOOD in Fayetteville, Fayette County, West Virginia.
John moved to Wyoming County after his first wife died in 1923. If Caroline were still living at that time, she'd probably moved with him.
