Seeking Daniel Hood, son of Zachariah Hood

I am seeking information regarding Daniel Hood, b. ~1842, d. ~1920. The information I have lists his wife as Margaret J. Hobbs b.~1849, d. ~1896. They had a daughter by the name of Willie Alice Hood who married George Allen McNeese, settled in the Prospect/Elkton area of Giles Co. TN. Daniel is my ggg grandfather. I attended a headstone dedication ceremony at the Pettusville, AL cemetery where he is buried. The ceremony and the headstone were donated by the Daughters of the Confederacy as Daniel was a Confederate veteran of the Civil War. HIs parents may be Zachariah Hood and Margaret J. Hobbs, and I believe he was born in Pike County, AL. Any information regarding the Hood lineage, his brothers/sisters, etc. will be most appreciated.
