According to ancestor hints on Ancestry.com, my line of Hoods goes all the way to Robert and Elizabeth Hood in Augusta County, Virginia. Proving this connection, on the other, is another story itself. I am trying to connect the link from his son John and his son John Jr. I can prove my lineage to John JR.
What I understand is there was an oral interview with an Annis (Hood) Greer. Does anyone have a recording or information on the interview?
I have also read in forums that there are copies of his 1774 will out there and marriage records. I would love to have any official documents on Robert and Elizabeth or their children.
