If you are still interested in this topic, please respond. I do not have the original accounts, but the Portsmouth Times ran a long article on this incident in 1931 as part of a feature on the history of Greenup County. Turner and Rueben Clark were the last 2 people hung in Greenup, and the Brewer murder case was included in the article because the last public hanging was connected to it.
