Looking for info on James Hood, who married Jean Arnot 31 Jul 1803 in Brechin, Angus. At the time he was a private in the Forfarshire Militia. He still was in 1808 at the birth of his son, also named James. He is listed, along with his wife Jean, in the 1841 census as a weaver, still in Brechin. I have not been able to find his parents or any of his siblings or other children. Any info would be much appreciated.
