John Hinton md Esther Mongomery, Wm "Billy" Hinton & Martha Hinton Hargrove (ch/of Jesse & Elizabeth Hawkins Smith Hinon) and Henderson Hinton (apprenticed to Wimberley Hinton at age 7 in 1824)can all be traced back to Johnston County, NC. Parentage of John & Henderson yet to be discovered as is the parentage of Jesse Hinton, father of Wm & Martha. A

After the death oc Jessee Hinton, c 1800 Eliabeth Hawkins Smith Hinton married Samuel Norsworthy & accompanied him to Tuscaloosa Cty..

I, along with other researchers, feel that the Tuscaloosa Cty Hintons are related to Jesse, father of WM "Billy". Thus I am reviewing Johnston County Court Minutes which I splurged on a few years ago , in search of Jesse Hintons & the possible father of Jesse,-( father of Martha & Wm "Billy".)

Any help in regard to the above would be greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow I will begin the first of several posts from Johnston Cty Ct Min containing mention of the various Jesse Hintons. Thank You Darlene
