My Crittenden Co. Hoods were Jonathan and his wife, Hannah Cousar. With them was their son Jonathan Franklin Hood, called Frank. There is a record in 1844 of Jonathan and Jonathan Franklin visiting with Justinian Chastine Hood in Crittenden Co. They must have been related, but I have not found the connection. Jonathan Franklin married Mary Duncan in Crittenden Co. in 1846. Justinian Chastine moved to Crittenden Co. in 1830, coming from Virginia. By 1854 all my Hoods were in Bollinger Co., Missouri.
