I believe Alexander HOOD is my ancestor (through two connections) and would like to
know if anyone else has information on or is connected to these families. I believe my
gg-grandmother, Maranda C. (Hood) REAMS, may have been his dau. and I think my g-grandmother, Bettie Elizabeth (Hood) REAMS/REAMES, may have been his grandaughter through his son Sterling C. HOOD. Here is the information I have on him and his family:
Alexander HOOD b. abt 1784 in VA / was in Giles Co.TN by 1812 through 1820 at least / was in Fayette Co.TN by 1840 / d. 21 Oct 1854 in Fayette Co.TN (left will)
