Note: Various spellings as found on LDS website

John Honeybourne b. 1 Sept 1760 d. May 1809 married Susannah Travers 24 May 1779. Susannah b. abt 1757 d. Mar 1823.

Children:

1. Audrey b. 1780 d. 24 May 1844 married James Clarke
11 Oct 1802
2. Job b. 26 Nov 1782
3. Maria b. 1786
4. George b. 25 Apr 1789 d. Apr 1789 buried 1 May 1789
5. Ann Marsh b. 15 Aug 1790
6. Sarah b.13 Oct 1793

My GGGrandmother was Susanna Honeyburn b. 18 Nov 1799? and died 16 May 1891 Gambo, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. She married James Pritchett 24 Sept 1826 Red Cliff, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. James was born 1797 in Devon, England and immigrated to Newfoundland during war of 1812. He was christened 10 Sept 1815 in Greenspond, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. He died 10 Nov 1858 in Gambo.

Children of James Pritchett and Susanna Honeyburn:

1. Elizabeth b. 19 Apr 1830
2. John b. 3 May 1832 d. 3 Oct 1898
3. James b. 17 May 1834 d 25 May 1891
4. Anne Patience b. 17 Feb 1836
5. Job b. 5 Jan 1838
6. William Absalom b. 11 Dec 1839 d. 7 Sept 1919 (My
Great Grandfather)
7. Caroline b. 14 Jan 1891 d. 8 Nov 1908
8. Susanna b. 1843
9. George Barnet b. 4 June 1846 d. 24 Oct 1918
10. Abraham b. 1849 d. 22 Mar 1928
11. Emma
12. Mary d. 1867

Could my GGGrandmother, Susanna, be the daughter of Job, son of John Honeybourne and Susanna Travers? Job was assigned to the Greenspond house of Slade & Co as an agent in Red Cliff, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland about 1820. Their age difference (Job 26 Nov 1782 and Susanna 18 Nov 1799 - just under 17 years)makes me have doubts if the record are correct. I haven't been able to find a connection between them and to the Sarah, Maria and Joseph Honeyburns mentioned in my first message above. No other information on the children of Sarah and Maria. Joseph married Ann and had daughter Mary b.11 May 1831. He may also have had a son Robert who shows up in church records for Bonavista Bay.
