Hi there...I know this is late BUT...
Mary Susanna Geake emigrated from Cornwall with her brother George Geake and her husband William tonkin. William and Mary were my gggrandparents. Mary and George's parents were John Geake and Betsey Honey Geake of Boscastle.
Now. My maiden name is Blake. If you're from Pen Argyl/Bangor you no doubt recognize it. The Blakes from there originated (as far back in the 1700's as I have gotten but they were not FROM Devon) in Diptford, Devon. One distant cousin, Albert Blake, married an Elizabeth Ann Palmer. When she died, he remarried...a Verrie Honey of Port Isaac, Cornwall. Verrie was the daughter of Richard Honey and Charity Ann KELLOW of Port Isaac/Endellion. Charity was the daughter of Mary Hawken APPS and UNKNOWN Mr. Kellow. Albert and Verrie's daughter Frances Mary married and ended up in Australia though I am not sure when...I am in contact with her son.
so there's a Kellow/Honey conenction there though not specifically in St Teath...though the Tonkins were from St. Teath. Seems the areas are all very, very close.
Let me know if you want specifics about any of these names.
