George Phillip Honey,95,died Dec.03,2001 in Entiat Washington.
He was B.Feb.10,1906,at Fort Walla Walla Washington to Allen
And Anna(Enfield)Honey.
He enlisted in the Army,and served in the Philippine Islands.While in the Army,he became a boxer.Once out of the service,he fought professionally under the name"Soldier George Honey".
He M.Hazel Zackman,Sept.07,1932.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law,George Jr.
and Ruth of Entiat Wash.,and Raymond and Shirley of Winthrop
Wash;grandchildren Michael R.Honey of Davenport Wash.David
Honey of Ephrata Wash.Lisa Honey of Twisp Wash.,Judy Ward of
Wenatchee Wash.Bill Garrison of Entiat Wash.Jackie Martin of
Fremont Calif.,and Michael Honey of Wenatchee Wash.
He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel;his parents;two
brothers,Burton and Leonard;two sisters,Gladys and Helen;a
half-brother,Allen,and a half-sister,Ruth.
Barnes Elmway Chapel,Okanogan Washington are in charge of
arrangements.
