Hello,
I am trying to find info on my great grandfather Victor Kuylen. He married Jeronima Huiza either in Guatemala or Honduras and resided in Puerto Cortez, Cortes, Honduras from approximately 1884 to 1899. He had a business and was also involved with the building of the railroad to Tegucigalpa. They had seven children that were born in Honduras. Adriana, Aurelio, Elisa, Emilia Josephine Juanita and Victor. The family was moved to British Honduras after he died in 1898 and Jeronima died in 1899.
Later on Aurelio after growing up use to captain his boat th O.C.L. between Honduras and British Honduras and Cuba and the Mississippi. I was told he also had children in Honduras as well as my mother's family in Br.Hond. Aurelio was my grandfather. He died in 1970.
My grandmother's side of the family was Alamilla. My great grandmother was Susanna Alamilla with family in San Pedro, Ceiba, and some was in Livingston, Isobla, Guatemala as well as Br. Hond.
Would welcome any info or family contact. thanks Dawn
