I am pretty sure she is a descendant of Hans Jacob Honaker, who landed in Philadelphia from Switzerland in 1749, because the overwhelming majority of Honakers in America descend from him. We know of more than 20,000 descendants, who are in our 1998 book, Honaker Family in America, and its CD-ROM supplement, but there are many more whom we do not know.
The family started out in the east, notably Va., W.Va., Ky., but now is all over the U.S. Offhand, however, I can't remember any presence in Bourbon Co., Ky., that we know of.
