Hi Tim,
I know this is a long shot but have you ever run across a John Homer, he was a ships captain that sailed from Boston to South Africa in 1812. He settled in Nova Scotia and became a member or Parliment. I'm also looking for a Homer / Boyd link. Thanks for your time.
