Need a starting place to find family of Max A Merzweiler who was born in Germany but came to US with family. Know nothing of siblings or parents since the story is that he ran away to join Navy as a 16 year old boy. He married a Sara and they had three childred; John, Doris and Eloise. John is my father and his father Max never spoke of his family. Interested in knowing why and finding ancestors.Any info from other Merzweiler families would be a starting place.
