Hallo from Nottingham in the UK! Good to get your message, sorry it's taken me a while to reply, but I wanted to research a little more information with my parents first.

Your reference to the UK Tuite-Sterlings. Lynne in Woodborough is my ex-wife. The Southend address will be that of my late uncle, Neville Tuite-Sterling. Yes, I am the motor racing Tuite-Sterling.

My father is the younger brother of Neville. My dad is Alan born in 1932 in Rangoon, Burma. He also has an older sister, Alwyn, who lives in the UK, as does my father. They came to the UK after Burma received independence with their parents, Basil & Florence Tuite-Sterling.

My grandfather, Basil, was born in 1893 in Burma, I think. He was the son of Henry Ponsonby Tuite-Sterling, who was born on 18th July 1857 at Fort St. George, Madras. From reading your message, I'm wondering if Henry was another son of Mark Tuite-Sterling.

I hope this will be useful information for your research. And, yes, I would be very interested to read your report when you've completed it.

Meanwhile, we'll start talking amongst the family and see if we can find out any more information that might be useful.

Best regards,

Ian
