Karen, there is an L.D.S. International Genealogy Index file on John Holybee that states he was born in Virginia in 1790. As of yet I have not found anything that would substantiate that. The next time I am at the L.D.S. family library I will see if I can find the source of that information. The local L.D.S. library is pretty small so much of the resource information I have to order from Salt Lake City and usually takes a while to get. If you get to the L.D.S. library in Houston they may have it on file there. If you get it before I do I hope you will post it and I will do like wise.
