Thanks Suzanne,

James W. shows up in the 1880 Dawson County census. He is married to Malinda. They had only been married a couple of months according to the marriage license I have a copy of. A Robert Ryley Pinion is living in the house with them. He is listed as a son and is two years old. James's brother, Andrew is also living in the same household. I don't have the record in front of me at the moment, but I believe Nancy died in February of 1880, and James remarried shortly after that. It would appear that Robert was the son of James and Nancy. Thanks for your help. Please let me know if you have any information that would be helpful. I interested in anything you have on the Pinion line. Have a great day.

Ronald
