Dorothy M. Holton Leslie, 93, of South Amboy, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.
Born in South Amboy, she lived there all of her life.
Before retiring, she was employed by Charles Komar and Sons, South Amboy, for over 50 years.
She was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, South Amboy. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of America, Court Sancta Maria 382, Mechanicsville Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the South Amboy Senior Citizens.
Her husband, Frederick F. Leslie died in 1982. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Edward Holton and a sister, Anna Harrigan.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert F. and Agnes Leslie of South Amboy; two sisters, Catherine Gerba and Grace Pavich, both of South Amboy; two grandchildren, Robert and his wife, Christa Leslie, of Sayreville and Rosemary and her husband, Glenn Vona, of Howell, and four great-grandchildren, Melissa and Matthew Leslie and Glenn and Gianna Vona.
Funeral services are at 9 a.m. Tuesday, from The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals,' 237 Bordentown Ave., South Amboy followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy. Interment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Sayreville.
