Benis Holt, 86, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at his residence.
Funeral services was held on Saturday, January 28 Rudder Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro with burial in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens, Hollywood, Al..
Mr. Holt is survived by his sons, Tommy Holt of Dutton, Alvia Holt of Scottsboro and Hubert Holt of Dutton; daughters, Brenda Talley of Scottsboro, Mary Johnson of Scottsboro, Shelia Maynor of Scottsboro and Connie McBryar of Bryant; sister, Margaret Daye of Scottsboro; brothers, Floyd, Robert and Clarence Holt all of Stevenson; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Betty Talley of Skyline.
Mr. Holt is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Ethel Holt; wife, Clara Holt; sons, Jimmy Holt and Benis Neal Holt; sisters, Rena Hinkle and Grace Willis; brothers, Charlie, Wilson, Louis, Herman and Alvia Holt.
