Hello -
I am also a descendent of Charles Holt. I have never seen the book you are referring to. Have you since found the book?

My mother was Edna Mae Holt, daughter of Edward Walter Holt who was the son of Thomas Jefferson Holt, TJ was the son of Kindrell Lawson Holt, Kindrell was the son of Charles Holt.

I am also interested in the book.
