My GGG Grandfather was named Derick Holsonback and he lived in Edgefield Co., S.C. His dad was Abraham Holsonbake and he had a brother named Abraham Holsonbake. This brother Abraham could possibly be your Abraham.
I found a record of a GA passport application for Abraham Holstenbeck which I thought at the time I found it was for Derick's father but I now believe it was for Derick's brother which is probably your Abraham. In case you don't have it it says:
Monday 39th March 1812 - On application ordered that passports be prepared for the following persons to travel through the Indian Nations to the Western Country, viz - One for Mr. William Parker with his wife and five children, and one for Mr. Abraham Holstenbeck, all from Edgefield District SC, which were presented and signed.
Does any of this match your records?
Jackie
