I have not done a lot of research on the Holloways but do go back to Charles Holloway who was in Kentucky in the 1780's. Married Hannah Bell in Woodford County Jan. 25, 1793. Franklin County was formed from Woodford in 1795 and
his daughter Amy married Gershom Moore in 1910. Charles'swill is recorded in 1803.He leaves a dower to his wife Hannah Bell and land to his daughter Amy but also mentions his brother,George of Virginia overseeing her part.Charles was also a Revolutionary soldier from Culpeper Co. Va. This reported by Elnathan Moore of Franklin Co. Ky.I would suspect that Charles and George are the children of George Sr. and Eliz.(Betty Holloway. There was also a Robert Holloway nearby in Franklin at this time.
Your thoughts on this.ThanksHarold W. Rarden
