Jane, yes, I have contacted both the Phillips and Gregorys with whom I matched 37/2--please note that both the descendants of Williamson Phillips b. 1795? NC and Charles Gregory b. 1821 in SC, Ga, or Alabama, matched 37 markers exactly. Williamson died in Georgia, supposedly in his 90s and was married a number of times and had other families including the one I matched with. Interestingly enough, when I talked of Civil War battles (mine fought for the North, his from the South, I discovered that they had fought the same battles, only on different sides. They, like me, only know the history of their direct ancestors and can't go any further back than the birthdates of their relatives. Jim H.
