Jim, I certainly understand the frustration. The same was true for us and that is why we did the dna test. After the results became known to the Hatfield family, the coordinator of their testing was very helpful in providing a paper trail showing the interaction between the 2 families for 200+ years, starting in VA on into TN and the Sequatchie Valley area(southeast TN,northeast AL,northwest GA). Have you had any contact with members of the families that you match? I am part of a discussion group of Holloway descendents and there have now been 3 dna test done and none of the 3 have Holloway dna. I am wondering if there are any real Holloway's. You mentioned Phillips as a name that you do match, do you know anything about them? So as not to muddy the water on this family site I will email you directly with a little information I came across about a Noah Phillips. Jane
