Martha,
We've been hunting my husband, George R Holloway's dad Louie Lacey Holloway b abt 1902 around Pavo, Ga, USA d Palm Beach, Fl and lived most of his live around Miami. He was in the service at one time but we have been unable to locate when, where or which branch. We've found many Holloway's from Alabama and wonder if they connect since I've not been able to prove his dad's name only a step dad we have info from someone else but not proof. We don't know of the Holloway's you mentioned but they could be related.
