I do not have any information on Almarine's children except what I have seen in the census records. My interest is in Almarine's parents and siblings. I believe Almarine could be a brother to my great grandfather, James H Holloway, born 1823 or 1824. James H Holloway has been very elusive. James served in the Civil War and I know from the pension application filed by his wife, Ann Ballard McCormack Holloway, that he had a brother named John and a sister named Pricey. They both made statements in the application. James died in 1889 in DeKalb Co., AL. I have information on James and Ann's children but nothing on James's parents and siblings.
