Elaine, my name is James M. Holloway--I appreciate the volumes of work done on Olin E. Holloway's line--what James L. and I used to talk about was one of my relatives, Thomas J. Holloway b. in Indiana around 1840 or so--I had lost track of him after the 1850 Indiana census--the rest of his family went to Missouri. It is fairly likely that he moved to the area where James's relatives lived Kansas?, I think. What I would really love to have happen is for either James or David to take a DNA test at FamilyTreeDna.com.I would advise a test of at least 37 markers--around $250, I think--there is a Holloway group there, but no one matches. My own relative, Jacob Meek (Meck) Holloway appeared with all of those Holloway Quakers in Wayne, Delaware Counties, Ind. around 1830--I have never been able to tie Jacob to those Quaker families--even Earlham College (Richmond, Ind) couldn't connect him either. Not only would a DNA test help me, but to get this family (NJ, Va.) scientifically noted would be of great service to many, many, Holloway researchers.Jim H.
