Levi Holloway--Revolutionary War Veteran buried in Indiana
This particular Levi Holloway is listed on the Revolutionary War listings for Indiana as having been born in Maryland.Hoping that there are Holloways out there who might be familiar with Levi's wife (s) and children, especially any born in Tennessee.
I also suspect that the Holloways living in Indiana, especially Wayne County, 1810 forward, had a connection with the Meek family.Interestingly enough there was another Revolutionary War veteran named Jacob Meek living in a near-by county. This Jacob was buried in a Dunkard
Cemetery which makes me wonder if there might have been Holloways in this very strange religion. The relgion was orignally based in Lancaster, Pa. where I have seen records of Holloways. One of their churches was centered at the Antietam Civil War battlefield. This church is located near Fredericksburg, Md.I have seen many, many Holloways coming out of Maryland into Indiana.Should anyone know of some of the Holloway involved, please let me know.Jim Holloway
