I am a descendant of the first of the Miscellaneous Hollisters that Case lists starting at page 678. The line runs Thomas10, Arthur Gregg9, Mallie Hollister Gregg8, Richard7, Jesse6, Elijah5, Gurdon4, Joseph3, Thomas2 (?), John1. As Case states, "the records of the descendants of Thomas2 (John1) are very meagre, and appear to have been lost.
There are a lot of Hollister descendants in this line, and if anyone has managed to crack this nut, I would be happy to hear of it.
Also, if there are any male descendants in this line whose descent is through males only, I would be interested in participating in a DNA descent study with you. I don't qualify because my grandmother broke the male to male descent line.
