Dear David Or any other person of interest;

I am not a Hollister, however I am writing about the history of a home I lived in. At one time a family of Hollisters lived there also. The home was also occupied by other members of my family during different eras---and this is a "love for the house' project. In 1971 my mother found the original deed to the home ( now lost) It listed a Zachariah J Hollister -as the owner of the newly built house in 1899. The spelling of his name could be off...as there is a Zachara found in the 1860 census index born in ohio. However the home, was in the east new york section of Brooklyn. If it is the same guy he would have been 39 when he built the house. We think he had a son, Arthur Sebastian, who did go to PS108 elementry school and graduated in 1910. Do you have any record of such a name, and family? If you do can you share some public details with me such as names of those who lived in the household, their occupations. Obviously I am looking to find out anything you may know. THANKS!! Paula
