The Project member believes that he has decended from John and Joanna Treat but is stuck in 1817 in New York.

If this is correct and assuming no adoptions or other similar complications along the way then the results clearly show that with 5 of the rarely moving alleles different from the descendant of Thomas Hale then clearly John could not have desended from him.

Unfortunately, we need more participants to join in to make any positive conclusion.

My results are due soon but will not help very much here.
