Jim, I apologize for not replying to this post earlier as I used to check this board weekly, but have been working on a genealogy web site that has consumed most of my free genealogy time for the last several months! I share your desire to get to the bottom of the Zebulon's in GA (and several other apparently unattached cousins as well), most of whom we believe descend from Zebulon (b ~1722) of Stephen of Henry of Valentine. I have been working with a couple of other researchers of this line to try and help sort this out, and based on this work I believe the picture is considerably more complex than some of the older research would suggest (as was mentioned in some of the other posts). I would like to get you in direct contact with one of the other researchers that also descends from Zebulon and Pheobe and who has done most of the work in developing the lineage theory that we believe best fits the available data. If you are interested, I will contact her and provide your e-mail address so she can contact you directly. I have also developed some graphical charts that show this lineage theory, and would be happy to send them to you if she in agreement. If you make contact with the other researcher and then can look at the charts, I know that we would welcome whatever comments you might have on the data. From the start, our intent has been to identify the best info possible to get most probably answers, and any new data that would shed light on these early GA Hollingsworth relationships would be gladly received. Please let me know how you want to proceed. Randy Hollingsworth Cedar Rapids, IA Notify Administrator about this message?
